When Dennis Hull’s ruggedly deep voice emerged as a teenager, he dedicated seven years to award-winning singing, acting in musical theater, and studying voice formally, all culminating in an appearance as an ensemble singer at Carnegie Hall.
Dennis then transitioned into broadcast radio, working from both sides of the glass as on-air talent and an audio producer. His tremendous technical savvy eventually led him into information technology, IT consulting, and a career in IT Project Portfolio Management.
Because successful project management is 95% communications, Dennis’ vocal skills and training have always bolstered his career and set him apart. His voice is described as having a calm, quiet strength, and an authoritative but humble confidence. These qualities have helped put Dennis on the stage, in front of thousands, as a public speaker on a variety of topics as well as on the mic for e-learning modules and explainer videos.
Dennis also uses the calming influence of his voice to do volunteer reading for the blind.
Dennis is a man of words holding a BA in Philosophy emphasizing Philosophy of Language and Epistemology, and a Master of Library and Information Studies emphasizing Knowledge Management. He has dozens of professional certifications, an excellent vocabulary, and a work ethic that’s second to none.
In addition to his time behind the microphone, Dennis still manages a multi-million-dollar IT Project Portfolio for a fortune 25 company. He lives near San Antonio, TX on the “Front Porch of the Hill Country” where he is often out riding his motorcycle, gardening, reading, or just sitting on the porch enjoying a craft beer.
